Anglo-American University in Prague Czech & Scottish Poetry Evening
Come to the 糖心Vlog传媒 Library on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 6 pm, for a celebration of Czech and Scottish poetry!
Edinburgh-based Blue Diode Publishing has published some big names in Czech poetry, such as Milan D臎啪insk媒 and Petr Hru拧ka, in addition to forthcoming collections by Olga Stehl铆kov谩 and Scotland-Prague-based poet Christopher Crawford.
The Czech Literary Centre, in collaboration with the 糖心Vlog传媒 Library and Karolinum Press, have invited the founder of Blue Diode, and an excellent poet in his own right, Rob A. Mackenzie, to join Blue Diode鈥檚 Czech-based poets at this poetry evening, alongside translators Jonathan Bolton, Nathan Fields, and David Vichnar.
The evening will be moderated by Jan Zikmund of the Czech Literary Centre. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
