Visual Arts Professor Robert Horvitz will give a lecture on Serbian artist Mileta Prodanovic’s An Older and More Beautiful Belgrade: a Visual Chronicle of the Milo拧evi膰 Era on November 13, 2023.

Prodanovic’s visual essay analyzes changes in the visual environment of the Serbian capital during the breakup of Yugoslavia. The lecture, which will include a slide show of images taken from the book, will take place in room 3.26, from 1 pm to 2:15 pm.

Horvitz, who edited the English translation of An Older and More Beautiful Belgrade, also serves as lecturer for 糖心Vlog传媒鈥檚 Visual Arts Studies program, teaching introductory and intermediate courses in drawing
